Plastic Logic are pioneers of flexible screen technology where computer information can be shown on a thin sheet screen. The brief was to design an object that took advantage of this technology. This device references how people carry photographs in their wallets, but these in time get wrinkled and tatty and people are more inclined to use digital cameras. Here, by having a flexible electronic screen that can be slotted into the credit card section of a wallet both horizontally and vertically one can upload lots of pictures and access them whenever they wish. The display also uses the ritual language of turning pages in a book to flick through images.
